You'll notice that many of the Pokémon used by Team Plasma are Electric-types, so it might be a good idea to have Ground-types with you.
Note that when it comes to Teams Flora and Plasma, battle themes pertaining to them are shared between the two, which consist of a Grunt theme, an Admin theme, and a Leader theme respectively.
Another thing you'll notice is that in your final battle with Plasmae, she has Mega Ampharos, and due to its Electric/Dragon typing, it means that its Spectrum Bomb can either be Electric or Dragon-type (otherwise it would just be Electric if used by it).
Much like with Team Flora's endgame in SP-Seasons, during Team Plasma's endgame at the top of the Time Tower, where Plasmae makes Kyogre enter its Primal form, you're forced into a battle with Primal Kyogre (which you can't catch or run from) before your final fight with Plasmae, and if you lose to her, you have to fight Primal Kyogre all over again.
David and Rhonda's Sequential Battle actually occurs in Holodrum's post-game during a Linked Game, which involves the two taking Team Plasma to the Palace of Space in order to summon and capture Palkia and have it create a spatial anomaly that removes all Pokémon from the world and changes it into one of only humans and technology. This happens to be the only time David, Rhonda, and any Team Plasma Grunts are fought in SP-Seasons or use Pokémon from past the 4th Gen.
